The Victorian FIDA (Football Integration Development Association) Football League exists to provide Victorians with an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate in Australian Rules Football, at a competitive level.

Governed by AFL Victoria, the League provides an environment that promotes fitness, fun, friendship and a sense of belonging. Through participation in Australian Rules Football, it enhances life skills and develops self-esteem, confidence and improved health.

The League is a structured Victorian football competition for males and females, aged 14 and over (40+ require a doctors certificate), currently supporting over 600 players. With four metropolitan divisions and two country conferences across Victoria

Bendigo Suns

The Bendigo Suns compete in the FIDA Northern Conference against Wodonga, Goulburn Valley, Wangaratta-Merriwa and Echuca-Moama. Each town hosts a carnival day during the year, with round robin matches of 2 halves of 10 minutes played throughout the day. Come and try days are held In Feb/March, with details to be confirmed.
