Chris graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Business in 1992 and has since forged a career in the local accounting and business community.  He became a director/partner of Strategem Financial Group in 2004, obtaining his CPA Public Practice Certificate in the same year.  He is also a member of the Tax Institute of Australia.

He played and coached at South Bendigo, Kangaroo Flat and Wedderburn Football Clubs and played representative football for both the Bendigo Football League and North Central Football League.  More recently he has coached junior football at Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 level.

Chris has been a member of the Commission since inception.
