Cohuna clips Eagles’ wings at Lalbert
COHUNA Kangas bound their way to a one-goal victory against Mallee Eagles in Saturday’s fifth round of A-grade netball action in the Central Murray FNL season.
The Kangas won a top contest on the Eagles’ court at Lalbert, 41-40.
A powerful Lake Boga team netted a 67-34 on Woorinen’s court.
The ladder-leading Magpies were too strong for the Tigers in all thirds of the court.
Koondrook Barham was home at Barham to face Balranald.
The Kangaroos won 73-39 against the River Raiders.
Another top contender for the premiership, Swan Hill won 52-29 against Nyah Nyah West United at Swan Hill’s Alan Garden Reserve.
Kerang, Tooleybuc Manangatang, and Tyntynder had the bye.
