HEATHCOTE can gain a break in the race for a top-five berth on the A-grade netball ladder in this Saturday’s round 16 action in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote DFNL season.
The Saints make their way to Lockington’s Nichol Trading Oval to play the LBU Cats.
A 47-36 win by Heathcote in last Saturday’s clash with Mount Pleasant at Pigeon Park in Barrack Reserve meant the Saints jumped the Blues on the ladder.
The Brooke Bolton and Kelsey Hayes-coached Saints are locked in a three-way duel with Mounts and North Bendigo to decide fourth and fifth.
After such a crucial win against the Blues the Saints’ will be determined to keep momentum rolling against the Jessie Hardess-coached LBU.
In round seven Heathcote beat the Cats by 43 goals.

The Imogen Davies-coached North Bendigo returns to Hibo Hotel Oval in Atkins Street to take on White Hills.
In round seven the Demons were in red-hot form as they beat the Bulldogs, 92-33 at Winslow Constructors Oval in Scott Street.

North Bendigo scored a 63-36 victory against Leitchville Gunbower at Gunbower.
The Lauren Bowles-coached White Hills won its home game against LBU by 45 goals.
After being beaten on Heathcote’s court, Mount Pleasant returns to Toolleen to face Elmore.
The Carine Comer-coached Mount Pleasant played well to finish within 19 goals of the Bloods at Elmore in the seventh round.

The Kym Bell-coached Huntly is on the rebound from a 15-goal loss at Colbinabbin to take on the LG team.
