AFL Central Victoria Announces the Resignation of Nathan Williams

AFL Central Victoria, in partnership with the Bendigo Junior Football League (BJFL) and Central Victoria Football League (CVFL), acknowledges the resignation of Nathan Williams, a valued staff member whose dedication and passion for junior and female community football has left a lasting impact on our organisation since commencing in early 2019.

Nathan’s innovative thinking and vision have been instrumental in the progression of both leagues. His focus on professional administration has greatly enhanced the operations of the CVFL and BJFL, ensuring they continue to evolve and thrive. Through his effective communication and leadership, Nathan has built countless lasting relationships within the football community that will endure for years to come.

In addition to his work in league progression, Nathan has been a steadfast supporter of local community club volunteers and administrators, recognising the critical role they play in the success of football at the grassroots level.

His commitment to player development and creating pathways for emerging talent, especially in junior and female football, has been at the forefront of his work, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunity for all.

Nathan’s final day with AFL Central Victoria will be Thursday, 23rd January. While his departure is a great loss to our AFL Central Victoria community, we understand and support his decision to pursue new opportunities, and we wish him all the best in this exciting next chapter of his career.

His contributions to AFL Central Victoria, the BJFL, and the CVFL will be felt for many years to come.

Further announcements regarding the ongoing administration of the CVFL and BJFL will be made in due course.

Please join us in thanking Nathan for his invaluable service, dedication, and contributions to the region, and in wishing him all the best in his future endeavours.
