CALIVIL United stunned Bridgewater in Saturday’s fifth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football Netball League.
The Demons were fired up from the first pass at Laser Plumbing Bendigo Oval in Bridgewater.
At home and unbeaten, Bridgewater went in as favourite, but it was Calivil United which dominated most of the contest.
The Demons marked one of their best wins in recent years as they led 69-48 at the final whistle.
Mitiamo had to work hard to beat Marong in a high-scoring contest at John Forbes Oval in Mitiamo.
The Superoos took the points, 57-48 and stretched the unbeaten run to five games.
Maiden Gully YCW Eagles won a hard-fought match on Pyramid Hill’s court at Mitchell Park.
Refreshed by the bye, the Eagles kept their unbeaten run rolling in a 36-32 victory.
Newbridge had a break as Bears Lagoon Serpentine is not fielding an A-grade team.
Inglewood had the bye.

It’s the top of the table clash in next Saturday’s sixth round as second-placed Maiden Gully YCW hosts the ladder-leading Mitiamo at Marist College Oval.
Marong takes on Bridgewater at Discover Marong Park in Malone Park.
Inglewood faces Newbridge at Dissy Machinery Oval in Inglewood.
Calivil United will play Bears Lagoon Serpentine in the lower grades at Serpentine
Pyramid Hill has the bye.
