EAGLEHAWK is represented in all age groups of this season’s Bendigo Junior Football League action.
There are seven teams in the famous Two Blues guernsey who are competing.
In last weekend’s 14th round the Borough fought for points in under-12 Girls; under-12 A and D; under-14 reserves, division one; under-15 Girls seniors; and under-16 reserves, division one.
Eaglehawk had the bye in under-14 reserves, division two.
The round kicked off with Friday night’s under-12 Girls matches.
Eaglehawk took on South Bendigo on Quinn Oval at Mercy Junortoun Sports Precinct.
The Bloods scored a 32-6 win against the Hawks.
Lacey Waite was on target for Eaglehawk in the third quarter.
Best for Eaglehawk were Addilyn Westaway, Amaya O’Connell, Ivy Thorpe, Piper Ferguson and Alexis Thompson.
The Eaglehawk Eagles tackled Golden Square in the under-12A match on Saturday at California Gully.
The Bulldogs led 18-16 at three quarter-time and then kicked away for a 42-18 victory.
Goalkickers for Eaglehawk were Evan Saunders and Bailey Stone.
Best for the Eagles were Alex Hinton, Riley Crapper, Alfie Hinton, Bailey Stone, Thomas Evans and Braxton Webster.
Eaglehawk Hawks won the under-12D clash with Strathfieldsaye by 29 points.
The Hawks led 15-nil at quarter-time and 29-1 by half-time of Saturday’s match in California Gully.
Both teams scored three goals in the second half as the Borough marked a 52-23 victory.
Goalkickers for the Hawks were Kobee Mulcahy, three; Cage Alderton, Max Metherell, James Nisbet, Ethan Swinnerton.
The Hawks’ best were Max Metherell, Kobee Mulcahy, Charlie Welch, George Prime, Jackson Nowell and Ned Hocking.
It was the clash of the Hawks and Demons as Eaglehawk met White Hills in the under-14 reserves, division one game in California Gully.
The Demons fired up to win 148-50.
The Hawks’ attack was led by Jett McConnell and Harrison Taylor on two goals as George Hillard, Bohdi Hunt and Rhys Kidd Whyte added one.
Eaglehawk’s best were Taiglan Turton, Brodie Taylor, Rhys Kidd Whyte, Xavier Williams, Bohdi Hunt and Harrison Taylor.
In the under-15 Girls seniors competition, Eaglehawk played Sandhurst on Sunday in California Gully.
The Sandhurst line-up led 22-8 at half-time and kicked on for a 51-10 victory.
Jessica Wilson goaled for the Borough in the second quarter.
Best for Eaglehawk were Matayah Leech, Caitlin Grigsby, Alexandra Jones, Olive Rhoden, Maggie Pollock and Rima Shanley.
The Hawks made their way across to Maryborough’s Princes Park for the under-16 reserves, division one match on Sunday.
In the battle of the Magpies and Hawks it was Maryborough which ruled in a 115-40 victory on its turf.
Hawks’ captain Ali Gill kicked three goals as Taj Ferguson, Cale Hinton and Sonny Tuckerman were also on target.
Best for Eaglehawk were Ali Gill, Cale Hinton, Archer Harrison, Sonny Terrill and Bailey Cochrane.
