MAIDEN Gully YCW Eagles soared to a season-best victory in Saturday’s seventh round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football Netball League season.
The Eagles dominated play at Bridgewater Bakehouse Oval to score a 28-goal victory.
A tally of 76 goals was Maiden Gully YCW’s best return since a 61-54 win against Marong at Marist College Oval in round three.
Just as impressive was the Eagles’ defensive play as they worked to restrict Bridgewater to 48 goals.
Mitiamo’s unbeaten run rolled on as it scored a 56-44 win against Pyramid Hill on the Superoos’ court at John Forbes Oval.
Calivil United was too strong for Inglewood at 5 Star Stockfeeds Oval in Calivil.
A red-hot Demons scored 69 goals in a 40-goal victory.
Marong took a rest in A-grade, but the Panthers did take on Bears Lagoon Serpentine in the lower grades at Discover Marong Park in Malone Park.
Newbridge had the bye.

It’s fifth against fourth in next Saturday’s eighth round when Pyramid Hill hosts Bridgewater at Mitchell Park.
Inglewood takes on Marong at Dissy Machinery Oval in Inglewood.
Newbridge clashes with Calivil United at Simonds Homes Riverside Oval in Newbridge.
Bears Lagoon Serpentine hosts Maiden Gully YCW Eagles in the lower grades at Serpentine.
