Ultima wins closely-fought duel with Tigers
ULTIMA fought on for a five-goal win against Macorna in Saturday’s 10th round of A-grade netball in the Golden Rivers FNL season.
The Kangaroos were on their court at Ultima against the Tigers.
A top contest between second and fifth ended in a 39-34 win for Ultima.
Moulamein was up against the ladder-leading Murrabit.
Although the Swans had home-court advantage at Moulamein it was Murrabit which claimed a 53-39 victory.
Wandella was at home against Hay.
Third in the title race, Hay Lions won 47-34 against the Bombers.

The league takes a break on July 6 for the school holidays.
A highlight of the 11th round which is Naidoc Round being played on July 13 will be Murrabit at home against Hay .
Moulamein will be on its court to face Ultima.
Wandella and Macorna meet at Wandella Recreation Reserve.
