Blues thrash Lions on Murrabit court
MURRABIT passed the 80-goal mark as it dominated play against Hay in Saturday’s 11th round of the Golden Rivers FNL’s A-grade netball competition.
Teams took to the court as the league marked Naidoc Round.
Although it was first against third it was Murrabit which put in a ruthless performance against the Hay Lions.
At the final siren the Murrabit Blues led 81-41.
Margins in the other two A-grade matches were single figures.
Moulamein was at home against Ultima.
A closely-fought contest went the way of the Ultima Kangaroos, 40-33.
Wandella had home-court advantage against Macorna.
It was the Tigers who marked a successful trip to the Bombers’ hangar at Wandella as they scored a 46-38 victory.

It’s third against fourth as Hay hosts Moulamein in next Saturday’s round 12 action.
Macorna will be at home to play Murrabit.
Ultima and Wandella clash on the Kangaroos’ court at Ultima Recreation Reserve.
