A SHOWDOWN between the Hay Lions and Moulamein Swans highlights Saturday’s 13th round of senior footy in the Golden Rivers FNL season.

It’s third against second on Hay’s ground from 2.25pm.

When these clubs last met in round eight it was Moulamein which marked a 72-58 victory at Hay.

In last Saturday’s play Hay beat Murrabit by 43 points as Moulamein won 156-37 against Macorna.

Best in the Lions’ latest victory were Dean Aylett, Tom Spence and Jensen Hargreaves.

Crucial match-ups for Hay against the Swans will be in the centre where Dom Booth is against Amos Farrell, the ruck where James Moran takes on Heath Moloney.

Hay’s line-up has Fergus Cattanach as ruck-rover, Kenneth Jubb at centre half-forward, Luke Arandt and Brad Pocock in defence.

A strong attack for Moulamein is led by Andy Silva, Daniel Aarsman and Josh Flight.

Other players to watch for the Swans are Corey Farrell, Blake Azzopardi and Cody Storm.

Macorna is at home to take on the ladder-leading Ultima.

In round eight the Tigers finished within 15 points of the Kangaroos.

Macorna will be fired up after such a big loss at Moulamein.
