SCORES were locked on 40-all at the finish of the A-grade netball match between Moulamein and Wandella in Saturday’s 15th round of the Golden Rivers FNL season.
The Swans led 21-15 at half-time on their court and by seven at a quarter to go.
In the last it was Wandella which lifted to win the term, 15-8, and for the conterst to end in a draw.
A list of goalscorers was not supplied.
Macorna scored a 19-goal win on Hay’s court.
The Tigers led 16-10 at quarter-time and 34-17 by the main break.
Hay hit back to win the third, 12-10, but Macorna finished strongly to score 14 goals to 10 in the last for a 58-39 victory.
Asela Finch led the Tigers’ attack on 37 goals as Emmalea Wishart added 21.
Hay’s leading goaler was Ellen Jamieson with 27.
Ultima marked a 36-31 win on Murrabit’s court.
The Murrabit Blues led 19-17 at half-time and it was all tied on 25-all going into the final quarter.
Ultima won the term, 11-6, and the match.
The Kangaroos’ attack was led by Grace Farrrell, 14; and Ash Sanders, 13.
Goalers for Murrabit were Grace Gillingham, 16; Montana Keating, 11; and Lauren Morrow, 4.
