Lions claw way to thrilling win at Macorna
THE Hay Lions clawed their way to a thrilling victory at Macorna in Saturday’s third round of A-grade netball in the Golden Rivers season.
An exciting duel between the Tigers and Lions went Hay’s way, 43-42.
It was a high-scoring match at Ultima as the Kangaroos took on Murrabit.
Top two in the premiership race, Murrabit and Ultima put on a great show.
The Blues marked the trek to Ultima by scoring a 61-50 victory.
Wandella could not stop Moulamein’s run to a 51-29 win on Wandella’s court.
Standings in the Golden Rivers A-grade netball competition:

Highlight of next Saturday’s fourth round will be the showdown between third and second as Hay hosts Ultima.
Moulamein will be at home to play Macorna.
Murrabit takes on Wandella on the Blues’ court at Murrabit Recreation Reserve.
