Swans upset ladder-leading Murrabit
MOULAMEIN marked its best victory of the season when it upset the ladder-leading Murrabit in Saturday’s fifth round of A-grade netball action in the Golden Rivers FNL competition.
The Swans had home-court advantage at Moulamein against the Blues.
A top contest went Moulamein’s way, 49-38.
The Blues took an unbeaten run into the match, but it was the team in red and white which took the points.
Results in the other two A-grade matches went as expected.
Ultima marked its trek to Macorna by scoring a 41-34 victory in Tigers’ territory.
The Hay Lions won a high-scoring clash with the Wandella Bombers, 60-47.
