Lions fight for victory at Moulamein
THE Lions from Hay fought to achieve a five-goal victory at Moulamein in Saturday’s seventh round of A-grade netball in the Golden Rivers FNL season.
It was a tremendous contest between the Swans and Lions.
At the final siren Hay led 49-44.
Macorna was at home against the ladder-leading Murrabit.
The Tigers worked hard, but the Blues were too strong in a 59-32 result.
Ultima marked a 51-33 win at home against the Wandella Bombers.

The season resumes on June 15 when teams contest Pride Round.
Hay is at home to play Macorna in the clash of the Lions and Tigers.
Murrabit hosts Ultima as the Blues meet the Kangaroos.
Wandella takes on Moulamein at Wandella Recreation Reserve.
