ELMORE’S unbeaten run in A-grade netball rolled on in Saturday’s match at White Hills in the 13th round of the Bendigo Bank Heathcote DFNL season.
It was a rematch of the 2022 grand finalists as Elmore took to the White Hills court at Winslow Constructors Oval in Scott Street.
An evenly-contested first quarter ended with Elmore in front, 17-15.
The Allira Holmes and Gabe Richards-coached Elmore then upped its play in the second to score 16 goals as it held the Demons to a tally of 10.
White Hills reduced the deficit by a goal going into the final term, but the reigning premier was just too strong.
The Bloods won the last term, 14-9, and the contest, 57-45 against the Lauren Bowles-coached Demons.
Upset of the round was at Huntly’s Strauch Reserve where the Harlowe Huntly Hawks beat North Bendigo by six goals.
It was a crucial match for North Bendigo, now being coached by Imogen Davies, in the duel to decide a top-five berth.
On Saturday it was the Kym Bell-coached Hawks who outplayed the Bulldogs to record a 53-47 victory.
Colbinabbin won every quarter on its way to a 41-goal win against Lockington Bamawm United at Colbinabbin’s M.J. Morgan Oval.
The Jen McIntyre-coached Colbinabbin led 16-10 at quarter-time and 35-20 by the main break.
In the third the Grasshoppers dominated to score 20 goals and hold the Jessie Hardess-coached LBU to a tally of seven.
By the final whistle, Colbinabbin led 78-37.
Mount Pleasant scored a 64-44 win against the Gemma Angove-coached Leitchville Gunbower at Gunbower.
It was the sixth win of the season for the Carine Comer-coached Blues.
Heathcote had the bye.

North Bendigo takes on Colbinabbin at Hibo Hotel Oval in North Bendigo’s Atkins Street.
Elmore and Heathcote will play at Elmore Recreation Reserve.
Huntly has the bye.
