HUNTLY scored a crucial victory against Mount Pleasant in Saturday’s fourth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote District Football Netball League season.
The Hawks and Blues played out a greatly fought contest at Specialist Breeders Australia Oval ini Huntly’s Strauch Reserve.
On the rebound from an 18-goal loss at Colbinabbin the previous week, Huntly beat the Blues, 53-48.
The goals tally at Leitchville surpassed the century mark as the Bombers took on Colbinabbin.
Leitchville Gunbower worked hard to achieve a season-best of 31 goals, but the Grashoopers scored 76 on the court at Degroot Roof Painting Oval.
Elmore was too strong for Lockington Bamawm United at Nichol Trading Oval in Lockington.
The Bloods won 67-25.
White Hills marked its third victory in a row.
After a big loss to Elmore in the stand-alone season opener at home, White Hills has struck to beat Leitchville Gunbower, North Bendigo and Heathcote.
The Demons fired their way to a 56-29 result against the Saints at Tint-A-Car in Scott Street, White Hills.
North Bendigo had the bye.

Elmore hosts Huntly, and Mount Pleasant takes on Leitchville Gunbower at Toolleen.
