AFL Victoria is currently offering a number of Volunteer Support Officer role in Central Victoria to work within our community football leagues and regions, to provide support to club volunteers across Central Victoria.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of community football; they are integral to the week-to-week operations of our game. As our game continues to grow, the need for volunteer support is vital, and AFL Central Victoria will continue to support our volunteers as much as possible.
VSO’s will work with Auskick, clubs, league, and association volunteers (committees and boards) that participate across AFL Victoria to support with the workload of volunteers and support those club volunteers performing key duties, and to build self-sufficiency in clubs and associations.
This role would suit anyone with knowledge and experience in community sport and be approachable, understanding and empathetic. This has the potential to be a highly rewarding role where you can be hands on and build strong relationships with local people.
The ideal candidate would start as soon as possible and continue until 4 November. The hours per week can be variable on your availability, with 25 hours per week being the maximum and most hours will be required on week nights and weekends.
