KANGAROO Flat was represented in seven contests across the weekend’s eighth round of the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Junior Football League season.
The Roos’ joeys were in action in the under-12, 14 and 16 age groups.
Kangaroo Flat was on home turf at Dower Park for the under-16 girls’ match against Kyneton Tigers.
The Roos won 101-6 as Natalie Munn kicked five goals and Kiera Cook, Georgia Garlick and Abbi Wells added two each.
Best for Kangaroo Flat were Abbi Wells, Lucinda Malone, Georgia Garlick, Natalie Munn, Alex Filsell and Chelsea Cole.
The under-16 seniors line-up scored a 15-goal win on Maiden Gully YCW’s ground at Marist College Bendigo.
The Roos led 53-8 at half-time on the way to a 107-17 victory.
Izack Brown led the attack on five goals as captain Jay Newman added three.
Best for the Roos were Zac Nelson, Orin McKay, Jay Newman, Izack Brown, Lachlan Raymond and Zak Lythgo.
In the under-16 reserves two clash, Kangaroo Flat kicked away in the last quarter to defeat Eaglehawk by 19 points.
The Roos led 42-34 at three quarter-time of the match played at Canterbury Park.
Jack Burns and Ollie Lowndes kicked two goals each.
Best for Kangaroo Flat were William Salau, Jack Burns, Clayton Smith and Tarrant Gloury.
The Roos had a bye in the under-14 reserves one competition.
Kangaroo Flat won the under-12C match against Strathfieldsaye at Enterprise Oval in Strathfieldsaye’s Tannery Lane.
The Roos led 29-15 at half-time and then added 5.5 to nil in the second half to complete a 64-15 win.
Beau Blythman capped a best on ground performance by kicking five goals.
The Roos’ best included Jett Gudge, Charlie Scholes, Max Gould, Archer Caddy and Jaidee Leech.
A closely-fought under-12D match between Kangaroo Flat and Marong at Dower Park ended in a 35-31 win for the Joeys.
Izak and Levi Cole, Sam Hurley, Thomas Pluck, Eli Eastwood and Adrian Bellis were Kangaroo Flat’s best.
In the under-14 girls’ competition, Kangaroo Flat played the second-placed Strathfieldsaye.
It was a 124-0 win for Storm on the Roos’ ground at Dower Park.
Latoya Foley, London Benaim, Tarlie Davis, Caoimhe Carthy, Saige Patullo and Isabelle Spencer played well for Kangaroo Flat.
