MITIAMO claimed a crucial victory in A-grade netball at Pyramid Hill’s Mitchell Park on Saturday.
The Jen Wilson-coached Mitiamo moved to the third rung after 15 rounds in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.
Mitiamo teamed superbly against the Gemma Scott-coached Pyramid Hill to mark a 57-37 victory at Mitchell Park.
Defeat meant the Bulldogs slipped down the order to the fourth rung.
Newbridge could not halt Maiden Gully YCW’s charge to victory at Newbridge’s home at Beck Legal Riverside Oval.
The Adam Boldiston-coached Eagles capped off plenty of atacking play to score a 64-39 victory against the Selina Holland-coached Newbridge.
Calivil United was at home to play Bridgewater.
The Aimie Brown-coached Bridgewater hit back from a home-court loss to Pyramid Hill the previous round to beat the Chelsea Hicks-coached Demons, 64-42.
Bears-Lagoon Serpentine faced Marong at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.
The Stacee Burns-coached Bears worked hard, but the Sue Borserio-coached Panthers were able to record a 74-22 result.
Inglewood had the bye.
