SEVEN clubs are represented across Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL netball grand finals at Newbridge this Saturday.
A huge day of netball action will be played at Deepcore Drilling Oval Riverside Oval in Newbridge.
It’s a rematch of the ’24 grand final as Pyramid Hill takes on Mitiamo in the A-grade contest from 3.15pm on court one.
A year ago Mitiamo scored a 48-42 victory against the Bulldogs in the grand final at Mitiamo’s John Forbes Oval.
An unbeaten run by the Abbey Battersby and Jess Kaur-coached Mitiamo in this season’s home-and-away series included 65-55 and 59-57 results against Pyramid Hill.
The Bulldogs began their finals campaign by winning the qualifying final against Newbridge at Marist College Oval in Maiden Gully by 16 goals.
In the second semi-final the Chelsea Emmerson-coached Pyramid Hill stunned the Superoos.
A 66-49 victory for the red, white and blue meant Pyramid Hill was first to qualify for the grand final.
Mitiamo bounced back to win last Saturday’s preliminary final against Bridgewater by two goals.

In A-reserve it will be Maiden Gully YCW Eagles against Bridgewater from 1.30pm on court one.
It was one-all in the run to the finals.
Bridgewater scored a 47-40 victory on Maiden Gully YCW’s court at Marist College Oval in round two.
In round 11 the Eagles soared to a 67-57 victory on Bridgewater’s court.
After a 62-49 win against Marong in the qualifying final, Maiden Gully YCW followed up with a 66-54 win against Bridgewater in the second semi-final.
The Mean Machine fought on for a 53-51 win against Marong in the preliminary final.

The B-reserve final features Maiden Gully YCW Eagles and Pyramid Hill from 1.30pm on court two.
Although Pyramid Hill had won the home-and-away matches against the Eagles by four and six goals it was the Eagles who beat Pyramid Hill, 37-31 in the qualifying final.
A week later and Maiden Gully YCW netted a 36-26 win against Bridgewater in the second semi-final.
Pyramid Hill has struck to win the first semi against Newbridge by 21 goals and then scored a hard-fought 33-28 victory against Bridgewater in the preliminary final.

The 17-and-under match between Bridgewater and Calivil United will start on court one at 11.45am.
In round six, Bridgewater scored a 60-41 win at home against the Demons.
Calivil United won the return match in the 15th round by 14 goals.
After a 47-39 win against Maiden Gully YCW in the qualifying final, Bridgwater beat Calivil United in the second semi-final, 52-42.
The Demons fired up to win the preliminary final againt the Eagles by nine goals.

Newbridge will start favourite as it beat the Demons by 21 goals in round five and by 26 in the 14th round.
The Maroons won the second semi-final against Maiden Gully YCW by eight goals.
After a 13-goal loss to Maiden Gully YCW in the qualifying final, Calivil United struck back to beat Marong in the first semi-final by four goals.
The Demons won the preliminary final against the Eagles by six goals.

Pyramid Hill has played on all three weekends of the finals series.
The Bulldogs won the elimination final against Maiden Gully by 17 goals and then beat Newbridge in the first semi by 26 goals.
A brilliant run by the red, white and blue rolled on in a 46-43 win against Marong in the preliminary final.

The Demons take on the Panthers as Calivil United faces Marong in the 15-and-under match on court one at 10am.
In round three, Calivil United marked a 42-29 win at home against the Panthers.
The Demons won 55-38 on Marong’s court at Jackal Oval in Malone Park in the 12th round.
Marong won the qualifying final against Bridgewater by a goal.
A week later and Calivil United scored a 52-32 victory against Marong in the second semi-final.
The Panthers dominated last Saturday’s preliminary final against Bears-Lagoon Serpentine.
A 50-13 victory meant Marong would have a shot at premiership glory.
