Smith joins AFL CV as Loddon Valley FNL Manager

AFL Central Victoria (AFL CV) in conjunction with the Loddon Valley Football Netball League (LVFNL) are pleased to announce the appointment of Kyle Smith as the new LVFNL Manager.

Commencing in the position on Monday June 24th, Kyle brings a strong passion for sports administration, making him an ideal fit for the role. Kyle will work collaboratively with the LVFNL Board and Clubs to foster relationships within the region while driving initiatives to support the growth and development of both football and netball within the LVFNL.

Since completing a Bachelor of Business (Majored in Sports Management) at La Trobe University Bendigo in 2020, Kyle has worked as the Competitions Coordinator with the Bendigo Tennis Association, overseeing all their social and competitive competitions while also being the Tournament Director throughout 2023.

Kyle will be working on a three-day-per-week basis with the LVFNL while continuing his current position at the Bendigo Tennis Association.

Kyle assumes the LVFNL Manager role from the highly regarded Laura Naughton who has been a stalwart of the LVFNL and AFL CV in her more than 10 years as LVFNL Manager and AFL CV Finance Manager.

Her commitment, dedication, and vision have left a lasting positive impact and legacy on both the LVFNL and wider Central Victorian football and netball community.”

Since beginning his role with the LVFNL, Kyle said “I am honoured to join the Loddon Valley Football Netball League and look forward to working the Board and Clubs to further the league’s success. I am committed to supporting our players, clubs, and the community, and I am eager to contribute to the league’s future growth.”

The LVFNL and AFL CV look forward to a prosperous future under Kyle’s leadership and extends a warm welcome to him as he steps into this role.
