MITIAMO’S hot streak in A-grade netball kept rolling in Saturday’s round 15 clash at Newbridge in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.
Third took on first at Deepcore Drilling Riverside Oval in Newbridge.
The Selina Holland and Kirsty Gandy-coached Newbridge took a lot of confidence from a four-goal loss at Mitiamo’s John Forbes Oval earlier in the season.
An in-form Mitiamo team coached by Abbey Battersby and Jess Kaur took charge in the early minutes and did not let up.
By the final whistle Mitiamo led 61-38 as it marked its 13th victory in pursuit of back-to-back premierships.
Bears-Lagoon Serpentine kept in striking distance of the top five as it beat Maiden Gully YCW Eagles by 34 goals.
The Danielle O’Toole and Lara Clements-coached Bears outplayed Maiden Gully YCW Eagles at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.
A 63-29 result against the Leisa Barry-coached Eagles put BLS a win and 13 per cent behind the fifth-placed Marong which had the bye.
Calivil United faced a tough task at home against Bridgewater.
The Cindy Portwine-coached Calivil United worked hard to score 47 goals against the Mean Machine.
Slick passes from mid-court to attack were a highlight as the Caz Wood and Olivia Hoiles-coached Bridgewater won 74-47 in the Demons’ den.
Inglewood was home at Centre State Scaffolding Oval to meet Pyramid Hill in the clash of the Blues and Bulldogs.
The Caitlyn Cartwright-coached Inglewood could not halt the in-form team in red, white and blue.
By the final siren the Chelsea Emmerson, Simone Edgley and Laura Herbert-coached Pyramid Hill led 97-24.
Marong had the bye.

Inglewood will be eyeing a great chance to end its winless streak when it hosts a Calivil United team chasing its third victory when the Blues and Demons play at Centre State Scaffolding Oval.
