THE Huntly Hawks were flying high across the weekend’s 13th round in the Bendigo Junior Football League season.
Magpies took on Hawks as Maryborough met Huntly in the under-16 reserves, division one match at Maryborough’s Princes Park.
The Hawks soared to a 112-24 victory.
Huntly captain Oscar Davies kicked eight goals in a best on ground performance.
Rhys Pitson slotted three goals as Zayver Marwood and Caleb Pellegrino booted two each.
Huntly’s best were Oscar Davies, Rhys Fahy, Caleb Pellegrino, Oscar Kleinert, Cash Caldis and Zane Whyte.
It was a showdown between the Hawks of Eaglehawk and Huntly in the under-14 reserves, division one match at Canterbury Park.
Huntly won 48-33 as Angus Davies and Isaac Plant kicked two goals for the brown and gold.
Other goalkickers for Huntly were Nash Campbell, Chris Luke and Manix Kean.
Huntly’s best were Angus Davies, Nash Campbell, Callum Fahy, Isaac Plant, Harry Mill and Thomas Barlow.
The Huntly Hawks marked a five-goal win against St Therese’s in the under-12B match at Bendigo’s Ewing Park.
Kyan Manson kicked three goals as Rex Edwards and Mitchell Fahy added one in a 51-21 victory.
Best for Huntly were Chaise Pink, Cooper Bateson, Austin Mountjoy, Rex Edwards, Henry Andrews and Max Mill.
