NINE clubs marked a premiership victory across last weekend’s Bendigo Junior Football League grand finals.
Some clubs achieved multiple wins as 13 matches were played.
There were 15 clubs represented in the deciders to the 2025 season.
First grand final to be played was on Friday night when St Therese’s faced St Francis Green in the under-12 Girls’ match at Kennington’s Harry Trott Oval.
After a scoreless first quarter, St Therese’s kicked 3.3 in the second to lead 21-6 by the main break.
The Sharks added three goals in the third term as St Francis added two behinds.
St Therese’s kept winning many contests and added 3.1 in the final term to complete a 58-8 victory.
Elsie Gretgrix kicked four goals for the Sharks as Perry Westley added two.
Other goalkickers for the premiers were Lucy Beasley, Florence Lapthorne and Lyra Haythorpe.
Best for St Therese’s were Perry Westley, Elsie Gretgrix, Florence Lapthorne, Mila Hughes, Lyra Haythorpe and Lucy Beasley.

A big day of grand final action on Saturday kicked off with the under-16 seniors match between Sandhurst and Golden Square at Queen Elizabeth Oval.
The Dragons led 15-2 at quarter-time and then scored 3.4 in the second term as the Bulldogs booted two goals.
Sandhurst dominated most of the second half.
The Dragons won the third term, 14-5, and then scored 6.1 in the final quarter to complete an 88-32 victory.
Max Connick kicked a match-high five goals for Sandhurst as Luke Cameron and Nicholas Harvey booted two.
The Dragons also had Jett Craig, Kingston Uerata, Riley Travaglia and Jamison Westley on target.
Bulldogs’ captain Mack Skinner kicked two goals as Carter Andrews and Charlie Macumber added one each.
Sandhurst’s best were Nicholas Harvey, Riley Travaglia, Max Connick, Luke Cameron, Jaxon Kelly and Quinlan Cody.
Best for Golden Square were Logan Wilson, Will Donnelly, Spencer Snell, Vailen Hickman, Tyler Wescott and Francis Walls.
It was an exciting finish to the under-16 reserves, division one match between Huntly and Maiden Gully YCW Eagles on Sunday at Triple M Park in Strathfieldsaye.
The Eagles flew away to a 26-6 lead by quarter-time and then scored 3.2 as the Hawks added 2.1 in the second term.
Quarter three went Huntly’s way, 14-12.
The brown and gold scored 3.2 in the last quarter as Maiden Gully YCW added three points.
At the final siren the Eagles were up, 61-53.
Josh Bellenger led Maiden Gully YCW Eagles’ attack on four goals as Rhiley Grinham-Reid kicked two.
The Eagles also Cruz Dowler and Slater Piazza on target.
Oscar Davis led Huntly’s attack with two goals as Rhys Fahy, Harrison Hargadon, Zayver Marwood, Caleb Pellegrino, Rhys Pitson and Zane Whyte kicked a major each.
The Eagles’ best were Drew Warren, Jack Moresi, Leo Wilson, Darcy Wallace, Lucas Hoctor and Rhiley Grinham-Reid.
Best for Huntly were Caleb Pellegrino, Zane Whyte, Zayver Marwood, Zethan Jensen, Rhys Fahy and Cash Caldis.
Golden Square won the under-16 reserves, division two clash with Lockington Bamawm United Cats by eight goals.
The Bulldogs and Cats played on Sunday at Triple M Park in Strathfieldsaye.
Golden Square raced to a 26-7 lead by quarter-time, but LBU hit back to win the second term, 21-13.
Quarter three was clearly the blue and gold’s best of the season as Golden Square scored seven unanswered goals to lead 81-28 going into the final term.
The Cats won the last, 24-19, but it was the Bulldogs players and fans who marked a 100-52 victory.
Jack Frankel kicked six goals in a best-on-ground performance as Cliff Fitzgerald booted five and Kirk Garley added two.
Other goalkickers for Golden Square were Tyler Bartram, Will Stedman and Ethan Tonna-Dorling.
The Cats’ attack was led by Campbell Keele and Declan Carmichael on two as Cody Cook, Harrison Condliffe and Charlie McIntyre were also on target.
Best for Golden Square were Jack Frankel, Cliff Fitzgerald, Kirk Garley, Tynan Thomas, Ethan Tonna-Dorling and Zane Shevlin.
Campbell Keele, Harrison Condliffe, Harrison Lees, Cody Isherwood, Cory Rowlands and Cody Cook played well for the LBU Cats.
It was an all-Sandhurst match as A and B met in the under-15 Girls, seniors match on Sunday at Triple M Park.
The A team raced to a 20-9 lead by half-time, but B struck back to score a goal in the third quarter as A added a point.
It was 13-all in the last term as Sandhurst A marked a 34-28 victory.
Goalkickers for Sandhurst A were Evie Gretgrix and Etta Place on two, and Evie Frankum.
The B’s attack was led by Stella Rooke and Zara Grieve on two each.
Lists of best players for both teams were not supplied.
The under-15 Girls, reserves premiership was won by Strathfieldsaye.
Storm met White Hills on Sunday at Enterprise Oval in Strathfieldsaye’s Tannery Lane.
A fired-up Demons team led 18-9 at half-time.
At a quarter to go it was White Hills which held an 18-16 lead.
Storm did plenty of attacking in the last to score 3.2.
By the final siren Strathfieldsaye was up 36-18.
Goalkickers for Storm were Mackenzie Andrews, Millie Balic, Billie and Bonnie Bortolotto, and Emily Dullard.
Best for Strathfieldsaye were Cammie Fitzgerald, Greta Pollock, Rebel Connors, Scarlett Woodmore, Ayla Lowndes and Lucy Pollock.

The under-14 grand finals were played on Sunday.
Strathfieldsaye scored a 63-45 victory in the under-14 seniors clash with South Bendigo at Triple M Park in Tannery Lane.
Storm faced a three-point deficit at half-time, but won the third quarter by 13 points to lead 42-32 going in the last term.
As Storm scored 3.3 the Bloods added 2.1.
When the siren sounded Strathfieldsaye was in front, 63-45.
Storm’s attack was led by Charlie Giddings and Miller Polglase on three each as Scout Davies slotted two and Eli Palmer added another.
Goalkickers for the Bloods were Noah Maltby and Ryan Packer on two each , and Blaine Anderson and Kyah Weeks.
Best for Strathfieldsaye were Charlie Giddings, Miller Polglase, Hudson Svanosio, Kayden Storer, Zander Walker and Isaiah Oataway.
South Bendigo’s best were Ryan Packer, Archie Coburn, Tristan Foster, Blaine Anderson, Callan McCarthy and Tyson Floreani.
The fight for the under-14 reserves, division one premiership featured Castlemaine against Rochester on Enterprise Oval in Strathfieldsaye.
The Rochester Tigers led 20-16 at quarter-time and 33-31 by the long break.
Castlemaine then won the third quarter, 25-18.
In the last it was the Tigers who broke free to score 4.2 as the Magpies added 1.2.
Makore Dickinson led the Tigers’ attack on five goals as Rochester captain Asher Rasmussen kicked three goals in a best afield performance in the 77-64 victory.
Other goalkickers for the yellow and black were Mason Mundie, Maddox Parker and Harrison Wilkins.
The Castlemaine attack was led by Declan Brasher on four goals as Xavier Britt booted two and Charlie Cordy and Evie Mountford chipped in with a goal.
Best for Rochester were Asher Rasmussen, Mason Mundie, Makore Dickinson, Judd Cuttriss, Harry Rasmussen and Hugh Acocks.
Declan Brasher, Abraham Harrington, Fian Blundell, Charlie Cordy, Louis Parsons and Xavier Britt played well for the Magpies.
The under-14 reserves, division two premiership was won by White Hills.
The Demons took on Kangaroo Flat on Enterprise Oval.
The Kangaroos bound away to an 18-7 lead at quarter-time, but White Hills struck back to win the second term, 22-1.
White Hills then won the next two quarters, 14-2 and 14-7.
Noah Kalstrom, Tamati McLarty and Arlow Smith kicked two goals each in the 57-28 victory.
Other goalkickers for the Demons were Charlie Boland and Tobi Nichols.
Kangaroo Flat’s attack was led by Chase Brown on three goals as Jagger McLean slotted the other.
Best for White Hills were Charlie Boland, Ayden Beck, Noah Kalstrom, Azlaan Ezad, Dennis Edwards and Knox Kane.
Jett Lower, Korbin Hull, Tyler Scullie, Darby Lamb, Nate Hargreaves and Levi Cole played well for Kangaroo Flat.
The four grand finals across the under-12 divisions were played on Saturday at Harry Trott Oval in Neale Street, Kennington.
Maiden Gully YCW Eagles soared to a 65-16 victory against Golden Square in the under-12A match.
Hudson Membery kicked three goals for the premiers as Ethan Van Den Aarsen slotted two majors.
Other goalkickers for Maiden Gully YCW were Ryder Cavalier, Tommy Clapp, Scott Davis, Thomas Hogan and Ned Wickham.
Best for Maiden Gully YCW were Ethan Van Den Aarsen, Tommy Clapp, Finn Mitrovic, Eamon Primmer, Thomas Ralphs and Mason Barker.
Golden Square’s best were Charlie Pell, Cooper Smith, Logan Shatwell, Isaac Taylor, Jacob McKenzie and Archer Keighran.
It was a high-scoring contest between Huntly and Castlemaine in the under-12B decider.
The Huntly Hawks led 13-8 at quarter-time and 26-14 by half-time.
Quarter three went the way of the Magpies, 26-19.
In the last the Hawks scored 2.4 as Castlemaine added a goal.
Kynan Manson kicked four goals and Rex Edwards slotted three as the Hawks marked a 61-46 victory.
The Magpies’ attack was led by Charlie Davis and Quinten McClure on two as Patrick Brasher, Ted Cordy, Clancy Hendrickson added one each.
Best for Huntly were Kyan Manson, Rex Edwards, Mitchell Fahy, Levi Smith and Austin Mountjoy.
Castlemaine’s best were Ned McMahon, Sid Wiese, George Cordy, Reuben O’Sullivan, Mehkai Brennan and Jhi McKenzie.
The under-12C premiership was won by White Hills.
A closely-fought first half against St Kilian’s-St Peter’s ended with the Demons in front, 18-13.
White Hills won the third term, seven-nil.
Three goals for the red and black and just one major for St Kilian’s-St Peter’s in the final term meant White Hills led 43-20 at the siren.
Patrick Millar and Hudson Ruffell kicked two goals for White Hills as Kayden Callanan and Lucas O’Keefe added one.
Goalkickers for St Kilian’s-St Peter’s were Hunter Horby on two and Ethan Schoder.
The Demons’ best were Jackson Boyd, Max Clark, Will Browne, Lucas O’Keefe, Oliver Anfuso and Dexter Kimberley.
Oliver Robinson, Lucas McCarthy, Angus Mitchell, Jimmy Cox and Josiah Patton played well for St Kilian’s-St Peter’s.
Just four points separated Kangaroo Flat and St Monica’s at the end of the under-12D match.
Kangaroo Flat won the opening three quarters to be up 16-10 going into the last term.
St Monica’s scored 1.2 in the last, but a goal for Kangaroo Flat clinched a 22-18 victory.

Rocco Lewis and Elodie Hoyland kicked a goal each as Harry Sheldon, Harrison Griffin, Jaxon McLean, Jasper Duguid, Rocco Lewis and Sam Miller were St Monica’s best.
