GRAND finalists Gisborne and Strathfieldsaye led the race for most votes in the Michelsen Medal awarded to senior footy best and fairest in the 2022 Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football Netball League season.
The Bulldogs achieved a league high 89 votes in which on-ballers Brad Bernacki and Flynn Lakey polled 15 and 14 votes.
Strathfieldsaye’s tally of 73 included 19 for medal winner and gun on-baller Jake Moorhead.
A sign of Storm’s strength was 14 players earning a vote in which Callum McCarty, 14, and Kallen Geary, nine, were to the fore.
