SWAN Hill outpointed Balranald in Saturday’s 18th and final round of the home and away series for A-grade netball in the Central Murray FNL season.
The Swans led 15-10 at quarter-time of the match on their court.
By half-time Swan Hill was up 30-18.
Pressure did not ease up as the Swans won the third term, 12-4.
Both line-ups scored 12 goals apiece in the final quarter as Swan Hill netted a 54-34 victory.
The Swans’ attack was led by Zoe Morris, 30, and Ingrid Condely, 24.
Goalers for Balranald were Ella Mirtschin, 22, and Jess Parry, 12.
Mallee Eagles soared to a 44-goal win against Cohuna Kangas at Lalbert.
The Eagles led 34-20 at half-time and then dominated the next two quarters, 19-9 and 24-4.
Kellie Walker scored 47 goals and Megan Thorneycroft added 30 in a 77-33 win for Mallee’s line-up.
The Kangas’ attack was led by Carmen Dye, 19, and Kobie McIvor, 14.
Lake Boga dominated its match against Koondrook Barham at Lake Boga Sports Club.
The Magpies led 37-5 at half-time and then scored 36 goals as the Rivers Raiders added 10 in the second half.
Lake Boga showed it has plenty of attacking options as goalers in this match were Sarah Hepburn, 33; Holly Hogan, 22; Sophie Peacock, 14; and Jemma Meehan, 4.
At the final whistle, Lake Boga led 73-15.
Goalers for Koondrook Barham were Remy Doyle, 9, and Ella Lodge, 6.
It was a 48-all draw between Tooleybuc Manangatang and Tyntynder at Manangatang.
The Saints led 27-24 at half-time of the match on their court.
Tooleybuc Manangatang led 35-34 at a quarter to play, but the Bulldogs fired up to win the last, 14-13.
The Tyntynder attack was led by Kimberley Calvert, 26, and Kelsey Rowe, 22.
Kerang faced Woorinen at Kerang’s Riverside Park.
The Blues led 10-8 at quarter-time before Woorinen fired up to win the second, 17-3.
By three quarter-time Woorinen led 40-25.
Tayla Bennett scored a match-high 52 goals as Amy Cadd added four and Emily Siely chipped in with two in a 58-35 win by the yellow and black.
Goalers for Kerang were Courtney Robertson, 17; Chloe Adams, 17; and Olivia Jones, 1.
Nyah Nyah West United had the bye.
