After a hat-trick of wins the Eagles have soared to be a win behind fifth-placed Macorna.
Maiden Gully YCW is back on its turf at Marist College Oval to play the third-placed Pyramid Hill from 2.15pm.
Latest hit-out for an Eagles’ line-up coached by Shawn Filo, non-playing, and Angus Monfries, playing, ended in a 63-point win at home against Newbridge.
The Bulldogs are on the rebound from a 15-goal loss at Bridgewater.
Back in round three the Jarrod Fitzpatrick-coached Bulldogs beat the Eagles at Mitchell Park by 35 points.
In-form players for the Eagles include Todd Delahey and Angus Monfries in attack, Tye Bedford, Mitch Hill, Anthony Robins and Lewis Pigdon.
The Maiden Gully YCW Eagles to tackle the Bulldogs includes captain Josh Worsley, Stacy Fiske, Lewis Pigdon and Daniel Russell.
A powerful Pyramid Hill attack was kept in check by Bridgewater last Saturday.
Gun forward Jhye Baddeley-Kelly has kicked 55 goals in 11 matches since crossing from Boort to Pyramid Hill.
Other key players for the Bulldogs are Zach Alford, Brodie Carroll, Ben Knight, Mitch Gunther, Gavin James, Cameron Ross and Lachlan Sidebottom.
Another big match will be at Inglewood’s Centre State Scaffolding Oval where the Blues take on Bridgewater.
It’s fourth against second.
A tough start to the season for the Jackson Hood-coached Inglewood included the Anzac clash at Bridgewater in round three which the Mean Machine won by 27 points.
A win-loss tally of six-six has Inglewood on the ladder’s fourth rung.
The Blues were outplayed at Marong last Saturday as the Panthers charged to a 58-point win.
Inglewood’s squad for this showdown with Bridgewater includes Charlie Aitken, Cade Cohalan, Lachlan Ford, Mischa Fraillon, Tom Kennedy, Liam Marciano, Gabe Nevins and Mitch Pickering.
A Bridgewater attack led by coach Lachie Sharp, Oscar McKinley and Mitch Patten will test the Blues.
Best for the Mean Machine in the big win against Pyramid Hill were Luke Ellings, Joseph Mayes, Harry Conway and Jack Neylon.
The Bridgewater squad includes Josh Martyn, Jack Merrin, Nic Naughton and Darcy Wood.
Newbridge will be striving to break a five-match losing streak when it plays Mitiamo at Deepcore Drilling Oval in Newbridge’s Riverside Park.
The Jayden Cordy-coached Newbridge kicked off a four-match winning streak when it won at Mitiamo’s John Forbes Oval in round three by 57 points.
Latest hit-out for Newbridge was at Maiden Gully where the Eagles soared to a 10-goal win.
The Maroons’ line-up to play the Superoos includes captain Kobe Friswell, Jon Coe, Will Copland, Chris Dixon, Jackson Hufer, Zebb Murrell, Zaiyden Richards, Caleb Sanders and Andrew Willett.
Mitiamo’s best in last Saturday’s home game against Macorna were Zac Myers, Ryan Duncan, Zach Morrison, coach Luke Lougoon, Oliver McMinn and Josh Diss.
The Superoos’ squad includes captain Ryan Duncan, Brayden Baines, Kobe Galvin, Joey Mizzi and Jye Rasmussen.
It’s the Bears against the Tigers as Bears Lagoon-Serpentine faces Macorna at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.
Both teams take winning form into this match.
The Jake Wilkinson-coached Bears won at Calivil last Saturday by 43 points as Macorna dominated on Mitiamo’s turf.
In round three the Fergus Payne-coached Macorna beat the Bears by 43 points.
Best for the Bears against Calivil United were Jaxon Addlem, Jake Wilkinson, Andy Gladman, Ross Turner, Luke Crawford and Nathan Twigg.
The BLS line-up has Farran Priest in attack, captain Charlie Gadsden, the experienced Tyler Miles, along with Darcy Hawker and Tanner Rayner.
Players to watch for Macorna include Kieran Foley, Dimitri Fasoulis near goal, Hunter Anset, Seb Erharter and Josh Whittle.
The Tigers also have Sam and Toby Whinfield, Broden and Xavier Wishart able to win many contests.
On top of the ladder in its pursuit of a fifth consecutive premiership, Marong is back on its turf at Jackal Oval in Malone Park to play Calivil United.
When they met in round three the James Flaherty-coached Marong won by 20 goals.
Competition for a place in Marong’s best 22 is strong, especially leading into crucial away games at Pyramid Hill and Bridgewater.
The Panthers’ line-up to tackle the Demons includes Max Balcke, Nathan Devanny, Jimmy Gadsden, Corey Gregg, Cooper Hale, Shaun Knott, Max Lowery, Jack and Noah McCaig, and Richard Tibbett.
Another huge test for the Sam Maher-coached Calivil United.
Key players in the red and blue include Kade Blow, Sam Green, Rhys Lourie, Jack Maher, Tyler Rasmussen, Cody Thompson, Zac Tickell and Brodie Wagner.
A famous name at Calivil United in Maxted will be represented in this match by Kyen.

In the netball………THE showdown between the top two A-grade netball teams at Newbridge highlights this Saturday’s 12th round in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.
Newbridge will be on its court at Deepcore Drilling Oval in Riverside Park to face the unbeaten Mitiamo from 3pm.
Both teams were in hot form last Saturday.
The Hayley Martiniello-coached Newbridge scored an 81-38 victory against Maiden Gully YCW Eagles at Marist College Oval.
Mitiamo’s run kept rolling as the Jen Wilson-coached Superoos marked a 75-23 win on their court at John Forbes Oval against Macorna.
Back in round three Mitiamo scored a 38-goal win against Newbridge.
It’s third against fourth as Inglewood meets Bridgewater at Inglewood’s Centre State Scaffolding Oval.
When these teams met in the Anzac clash it was Bridgewater which charged to a 64-31 victory against the Blues.
The Dani O’Toole-coached Inglewood took on Marong last Saturday.
A great match at Jackal Oval in Malone Park ended in a 53-all draw.
Bridgewater dominated its home game against Pyramid Hill to win by 19 goals.
Lou Dupuy and Carly Wood have teamed up to coach Bridgewater.
Another important match will be on Marong’s court where the Panthers play Calivil United.
The Bridget Willox and Bianca Garton-coached Marong holds fifth place by just two points from Pyramid Hill.
In round three the Panthers won in the Demons’ den at Calivil by 12 goals.
The Annie Blow and Alex Ingram-coached Calivil United will have gained plenty of confidence from last Saturday’s win against Bears Lagoon-Serpentine by 17 goals.
Maiden Gully YCW Eagles are on their court at Marist College Oval to play Pyramid Hill.
On Anzac Day it was Pyramid Hill which beat the Eagles by 20 goals.
The Christie Griffiths-coached Eagles will be working hard to achieve an upset against the Bulldogs.
Victory could put a Pyramid Hill team coached by Chelsea Emmerson, Amber Dingwall, Darci Tierney back in the five.
Bears Lagoon-Serpentine takes on Macorna at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.
In round three the Bears won in the Tigers’ den by 17 goals.
