Wandella jumps above Hay on A-grade ladder

WANDELLA jumped above Hay on the A-grade netball ladder in Saturday’s 15th round of the Golden Rivers Football Netball League season.

Teams took to the court for Bendigo Bank Round played across leagues under AFL Central Victoria’s umbrella.

The Wandella line-up played great netball on its court to score a 52-39 victory.

The previous meeting between the clubs in round eight ended in a three-goal win for Hay at home.

Murrabit’s unbeaten run kept rolling.

The ladder leader won 36-23 at Macorna.

Ultima almost hit the 70-goal mark in its home game against Moulamein.

At the final whistle, Ultima led 68-21.

Quambatook was at home to play Nullawil.

The second-placed Nullawil charged to a 50-24 victory.

 

Standings in the Golden Rivers FNL A-grade netball competition:

Murrabit 150 per cent, 60 points; Nullawil 163, 48; Macorna 120, 34; Ultima 116, 34; Quambatook 112, 32; Wandella 78, 12; Hay 57, 12; Moulamein 62, 8.

 

Pride Round will be played across the Golden Rivers this Saturday in the completion to the home and away series.

Macorna takes on Quambatook.

It’s second against fourth as Nullawil hosts Ultima.

Moulamein is on its court to play Wandella.

Hay and Murrabit clash on Hay’s court.
