WHITE Hills marked another big win on Mount Pleasant’s court at Toolleen in Saturday’s 14th round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote DFNL season.
The Lauren Bowles-coached White Hills bounced back from a loss at home to Elmore the previous round by scoring a 64-41 win against the Blues.
Despite the loss the Carine Comer-coached Mount Pleasant held fourth place on a win-loss tally of 6-7.
Unbeaten in its quest for back-to-back premierships, Elmore was too strong at home for Heathcote.
Jointly coached by Allira Holmes and Gabe Richards, Elmore charged to a 21-8 lead by quarter-time.
The Saints fought back strongly and capped several defensive plays with goals.
In the second term the Brooke Bolton and Kelsey Hayes-coached Heathcote scored nine goals and held the Bloods to a tally of 11.
Elmore won the next two quarters, 13-10 and 14-12.
At the final whistle the Bloods led 59-39.
Leitchville-Gunbower marked its second win of the season.
The Gemma Angove-coached Bombers won a closely-fought contest on Lockington Bamawm United’s court at Nichol Trading Oval.
At the final whistle the LG team held a 36-32 lead against the Jessie Hardess-coached LBU Cats.
Colbinabbin was too strong for North Bendigo at Hibo Hotel Oval in North Bendigo’s Atkins Street.
The Jen McIntyre-coached Grasshoppers marked a 69-42 win against the Imogen Davies-coached Bulldogs.
Huntly had the bye.

Leitchville Gunbower and North Bendigo clash at Gunbower.
Colbinabbin is home at M.J. Morgan Oval to play Huntly.
