SWAN Hill has a hue inclusion for Saturday’s stand-alone match with Tyntynder to kick off round 10 in the Radio 3SH-backed Central Murray senior footy season.

Former Essendon key defender and forward Michael Hurley marks a return to the Swans line-up for the King’s Birthday holiday weekend match at Swan Hill Recreation Reserve.

The Swans and Bulldogs will play under lights from 4.45pm.

It’s Hurley’s first match for the Swans since round 10 of last season in which he kicked seven goals.

Despite Hurley’s influence it was Tyntynder which won 103-97.

The Michael Herlihy-coached Swan Hill will be desperate to end this season’s losing streak which stands at seven.

Swan Hill endured a tough afternoon at Woorinen last Saturday as the ladder-leading Tigers charged to a 25-goal victory.

Tyntynder outpointed Kerang at Alan Garden Reserve in Swan Hill.

The Bulldogs beat the Blues, 68-43 as Elliot Broad, Mick Dedini, Bailey Reeves and Kyle Doran led the way.

Key match-ups for the Swans and Bulldogs showdown include the centre where Sonny Beasy takes on Tyntynder’s Bailey Reeves.

The Swans have the run of Tom Holdstock from half-back, ruck-rover Cooper Angus, and Wilhem Bennett and Bodhi Kelly on the wings.

Hurley will be the key target in a Swans attack that includes captain Luke Phelan, Kallen Heslop and Will Simpson.

In defence, Swan Hill has Thomas Corridan and Matt Pearse in the key roles.

Tyntynder on-ballers Josh Potter, and co-coaches Charlie Ford and Darby Bibby will test the Swans all match.

The Bulldogs have Ben Hallam and Sam Tozer on the wings, and Elia Ware and Coady Gorringe as marking targets in attack.

Ware has kicked 12 goals for the Bulldogs.

Another co-coach of Tyntynder is Justin Ellis.
