Superoos outpoint Eagles on Mitiamo court
MITIAMO was too strong for Maiden Gully YCW Eagles in Saturday’s third round of A-grade netball action in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.
The Jen Wilson-coached Superoos had home-court advantage at John Forbes Oval for the rematch of the ’23 grand finalists in Anzac Round.
Mitiamo was in control for most of the contest as it marked a 57-34 victory against the Adam Boldiston-coached Eagles.
Bears-Lagoon Serpentine went agonisingly close to achieving back-to-back wins.
The Danielle O’Toole-coached Bears were on their court at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve to play Newbridge.
A closely-fought contest went the way of the Selina Holland and Kristy Gandy-coached Newbridge, 38-35.
Marong could not stop Pyramid Hill’s charge to a 20-goal win in the Panthers’ den at Marong’s Malone Park.
The Chelsea Emmerson-coached Pyramid Hill made it three wins from as many starts in a 64-44 result against the Robyn Cunnington-coached Marong.
Bridgewater took the points at home against Inglewood.
A Bridgewater line-up coached by Caz Wood and Olivia Collicoat won 65-28 against the Abbey Hayes-coached Blues.
Calivil United had the bye.

Inglewood plays Newbridge on the Blues’ court at Centre State Scaffolding Oval in Inglewood.
Calivil United hosts Mitiamo at Calivil United Recreation Reserve.
