REIGNING premier Woorinen was too strong for Swan Hill in Saturday’s round seven clash in Radio 3SH-backed Central Murray senior footy.
The Tigers and Swans met at Swan Hill Recreation Reserve.
Woorinen led 23-9 at quarter-time and then took charge in the second as it added five goals and kept the Swans to a tally of two goals.
Defences were on top in the third term which went the way of the Tiger, 3-1.
The yellow and black added four goals in the last as the Swans booted two.
At the final siren the Tim Free-coached Woorinen was up 86-35.
A spread of nine goalkickers for Woorinen included two majors by Will Collicoat, Jose Miliado and Lachlan Warburton.
Jack Charleson slotted a match-high three goals for Swan Hill.
Best for Woorinen were Taylor Cameron, Lachlan Gardner, Lachie Martin, Oscar Lewis, Kane Reid and Henry Thompson.
Tom Holdstock, Will Simpson, James Horsey, Connor Dooley, Cooper Angus and Rory Sheldrick were best for the Jason Murphy-coached Swans.
It was a low-scoring contest at Moulamein where the Swans fought on for a 37-23 victory against Tooleybuc Manangatang.
Scores were seven-all at quarter-time.
Tooleybuc Manangatang won the second term, 6-3.
The Swans were up, 22-21 going into the final term.
As Moulamein scored 2.3 in the last it kept the Saints to a tally of two behinds.
The Swans led 37-23 at the final siren.
There were no multiple goalkickers for either team in a match where defence controlled a lot of the play.
Moulamein’s best were Charlie Bowes, Jack Jones, Josh Wills, Xander Hartland, Ethan Fitzpatrick and Heath Moloney.
Saints’ co-coach Nayef Hamad was best along with Gareth Grant, Josh Chatfield, Jordan Clyne and Ben Arentz.
The Brodie Tonkin and Hayden Dalitz-coached Swans are eighth on a four-three record.
A Saints team which has Robbie McComb as co-coach is in 10th place.
A seven-goal blitz in the second quarter set up Nyah Nyah West United’s victory against Koondrook Barham in Barham.
The NNWU Demons led 15-10 at the first break and then slammed on seven goals as it kept the River Raiders to just two behinds in term two.
A closely-fought third quarter went the way of NNWU, 26-23.
Led by the play of Nash Richman, Jordan Johnston and Jaydyn Stirling the Demons kicked on for a 109-46 victory.
John Summerhayes led the attack on three goals as Corey Daniels, Jonathon Ross, Beau Schwarze and Joel Walsh kicked two each.
Leading goalkickers for Koondrook Barham were Jacob Barrington and Roy George with two each.
Best for NNWU included Jack Palmer, Zack Threadgold and coach Corey Daniels.
Jack Poulton, Ryan Bassett, Harry Bremner, Roy George, Patrick Goble and Jack Thomas were best for the Marcus Demaria-coached Koondrook Barham.
Ultima did not have an easy run against Balranald.
The Storm led 27-2 at quarter-time on Ultima’s ground.
From there the Balranald line-up was able to almost Ultima’s scoring output in each quarter.
Ultima marked a 127-71 victory, but a tally of 11.5 was the best by the Brent Macleod-coached Balranald this season.
The Ultima attack was led by Dustin Burns on five goals as Joel Donnan, Corey Grey and Ben Kennedy kicked three each and Kade Benfield booted two.
Archie Alderuccio, Ian Fuller and Jack Helgeland kicked two goals each for the Kangaroos.
Ultima’s best were Caillum Brady, Cameron Johnson, Jake Foster, Matt Taverna, coach Joel Donnan and Ben Kennedy.
Balranald’s best were Kane Agius, Jack Salau, Archie Alderuccio, Brandon Gardiner and Ryan Middlebrook.
Mallee Eagles soared to a 12-goal win on Kerang’s turf at Riverside Park.
The Eagles were up 21-7 at quarter-time and 59-26 by the main break.
As Mallee kicked five goals in the third it kept the Blues to a tally of two goals.
The last went the way of the Eagles, 40-19.
Jacob and Zac O’Meara led Mallee’s attack with four goals as Jayden Post nailed three and Jonah Devlin and Hamish Hosking kicked two each.
Kerang’s leading goalkicker was Zak Bozanich on three as coach Brad Pay added two.
Best for the Eagles were coach Harry Allen, Marcus Wattie, Zac and Jacob O’Meara, Hamish Hosking and Beau Bennett.
The Blues’ best were Rylee Gitsham, Josh Hunter, Flynn McKnight, Cody Makeham, Hugh Bremner and Damian Byrne.
Eight goals by Nathaniel Holmes-Brown was a highlight of Lake Boga’s big win at home against Tyntynder.
The Magpies led 24-12 at quarter-time and 52-26 by the long break.
As Lake Boga added four goals in the third it kept the Bulldogs scoreless.
Six goals in the last capped a 119-34 victory for the Magpies.
Holmes-Brown dominated in the forward 50m arc with eight goals as Rex Hickman kicked three and Darcy Butler booted two.
All of Tyntynder’s five goals were off the boot of Zac Denham.
Best for the Dean Helmers-coached Lake Boga were Bryce Anderson, Braden Padmore, Max O’Reilly, Codie Anderson, Brody Palmer and Rex Hickman.
Zac Denham, Josh Potter, Tate Hulland, James Harvey, Sam Bull and Bevan Taylor were Tyntynder’s best.
The Bulldogs are coached by Darcy Bibby.
The Hay Lions roared to a 149-point win in their den against Wandella.
Hay led 27-10 at quarter-time and then slammed on six goals as it kept the Bombers to a major in the second.
The Lions won the third, 39-8.
Best quarter for Hay was the last where it slammed on 10.7 to complete a 173-24 victory.
Declan Watson led the Lions’ attack on five goals as Fergus Cattanach and Jack Headon added four each.
Other multiple goalkickers for Hay were Tom Banuelos, James Lugsdin and Jacob Watson with three each.
There were no multiple goalkickers for Wandella.
Best for Hay were Tom Banuelos, Matt McGannon, Will Wolbers, Fergus Cattanach, James Lugsdin and Dylan Collis.
Jack Radcliffe, Tynan Dove, Nathan Boysen, Connor Jamieson, coach Justin Robinson, and Seth Rowe were best for the Bombers.
The Mick Cattanach and James Moran-coached Hay is fourth in the premiership race.
Cohuna Kangas racked up 50 scoring shots in a 175-point victory on Murrabit’s ground.
A key inclusion for Cohuna was Kain Robins a multiple premiership-winner with Marong and also a Michelsen medallist and premiership winner in his time with Eaglehawk.
The Kangas jumped up away to a six-goal lead by quarter-time and did not let up.
Cohuna scored four goals in the second term on the way to a 67-2 lead by half-time.
The Jack Geary-coached Kangas kicked seven goals in the third and 11 in the last to complete a 185-10 result.
Cohuna’s attack was led by Kain Robins with six goals as Daniel Coates kicked four.
Corbin Anderson, Charlie Ford and Ricky Monti slotted three goals each.
Sole goalkicker for Murrabit was Leo Ellison.
Best for Cohuna Kangas were Chris Anderson, Sam McGlone, Ricky Monti, Charlie Ford, Daniel Coates and Kain Robins.
Murrabit’s best were Ben Kamaric, Leo Ellison, Sam Copland, Wade Minter, Matt Moon and Ben Derbas.
Was a tough afternoon for the Rick Ladson and Jack Shannahan-coached Blues following their win at Wandella the previous round.

Lake Boga faces Kerang at Lake Boga Sports Club.
