The Victorian State Government late last night – in line with the directions of Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Professor Brett Sutton, made the “difficult but necessary decision: to halt the resumption of full-contact training and competition for people aged 19 and over in regional Victoria.
The return to contact training for people aged 19 and over was previously set for July 13 and return to contact competition for people aged 19 and over set at July 20. These dates are now no longer in place.
For players aged 18 and under in areas outside of metropolitan and Mitchell Shire, full training and competition can continue.
